Q: How do I order a custom size?
​
A: At MetalArtInk, we cut our own metal. Because of this, we do not charge extra for custom sizes, unlike many other companies. If the size of print you are looking for is not listed in our store, call us at 385.498.0981, get in touch through the Chat, or reach us through our Contact Form with the details of your desired prints. We will get back to you shortly with pricing and specifications for your order. Remember, we can print anything up to 48" x 96"!

Q: Do you offer samples?
​
A: Yes! Order our smallest size print 8x12 to see what your photo would look like on metal, and you can apply the cost for the print as a credit to any print of the same image 20x30 and above! Currently, our 8x12 is on a 25% discount which makes it only $14.70. So after purchasing it, you would get an additional $14.70 off of any large print size on top of the discounts that are already applied! Just contact us before ordering your large print and we will send you a code to redeem your credit! (Cost for the 8x12 print only credited, shipping costs not applied as credit.)

Q: What is the difference between a recessed frame and a floater frame?
​
A: The basic explanation is that the floater frame is a visible frame and the recessed frame is not. The recessed frame allows for hanging your piece without putting a border around the print, making a very clean and modern look. However, if you like the look of a border around your piece, or prefer a more traditional art look, our floater frame is a great option that still looks very contemporary. The print is set into the frame from the front, creating a small space between the print and frame edges, making the print look as if it is "floating". The frame is lightweight and thin to keep the emphasis on the image.

Q: What finish is best for my print?
​
A: Great question! We have created a guide to help photographers decide on which finish to select:
​
The Glossy finish is by far the most popular when it comes to metal prints. This finish is high sheen for a high impact. The coating is fully reflective with almost a glass-like appearance. The finish is especially great for landscapes and water photography.

The Semi-Gloss finish is a great option if you're worried about glare. We often recommend this finish when the print will be displayed in a room with a lot of light or windows. There is still a beautiful sheen to it, but it is slightly less reflective than the Glossy finish, allowing the focus to be completely on the image. Along with landscapes and cityscapes, this is also a great option for portraiture!

The Matte finish has no glossiness to it. The image has a subtle sheen with no reflection, which lends itself very well to printing art such as abstracts. This is also a popular option for portraiture, and creates a very modern, minimalist look for any photo!

Q: How do I create a link to my full resolution photo?
​
A: Instructions for Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive are shown below! We also accept files from WeTransfer and Hightail--in order to place your order with these options, send your photo to sales@metalartink.com and include your name, phone number, email address, and desired print size in the message. We need all of this info in order to proceed with your order! Minimum sizes are listed on each print size page. Feel free to email us, send us a chat, or call 385.498.0981 if you have any questions.

GOOGLE DRIVE

1. Upload your photo to your Google Drive.
​
2. Click on the photo to pull up a preview. At the top right, click the three vertical dots.
​
3. Click Share.
​
4. At the top right, click "Get shareable link".
​
5. Click "Copy link". (Make sure the dropdown selection says "Anyone with the link can view".)
​
6. Paste link into the text box on the Product Page for the size you would like the photo printed.

DROPBOX

1. Upload your photo to Dropbox.
​
2. Right-click the file or folder you'd like to share.
​
3. Click Share.
​
4. If a link hasn't been created, click Create a link. If a link was already created, click Copy link.
5. Paste link into the text box on the Product Page for the size you would like the photo printed.

ONEDRIVE

1. Upload your photo to OneDrive.
2. Right-click the file or folder you want to share.
3. In the menu that appears, click Share a OneDrive link. A notification will appear showing that the link is ready to paste.

Q: What is your return/refund policy?
​
A: We do not offer returns--all sales are final. However, if your print arrives damaged, please contact us immediately and we will give you further instructions. There is a small window that we can make changes to your order, so if you notice something in the order that should be changed or fixed, please reach out to us immediately and we will do what we can to accomodate.

Q: How long will it be until my print is shipped?
​
A: Like many other companies, we are dealing with issues surrounding COVID-19 which may cause delays in production. We will do our best to get your order out as soon as possible, but you can expect the processing time to be between 10-20 days. If you are in a time crunch and need the order sooner, feel free to reach out to us and we can assist you in getting the order rushed.
Here at MetalArtInk, we take quality very seriously. Processing your order includes making several small samples on metal to ensure the most accurate color and detail before printing the full image. Then we begin the sublimation process. We will let you know as soon as your order is ready to ship!

Q: How are shipping costs determined?
​
A: We determine shipping charges based on the weight and dimensions of the product that will be shipped. Items that are more than 50 lbs or oversized in dimensions will not be charged shipping at checkout, as shipping charges will need to be calculated on a case by case basis with such large items. We use this as an opportunity to ensure that we get you the safest and most efficient shipping available for your specific order. All of our items are shipped via FedEx to ensure the greatest care available is taken with your shipment. If you are dissatisfied with how your item was delivered, please get in touch and we will do our best to assist you!

Q: If I live nearby, can I pick up my order?
​
A: Of course! We are located in Highland, UT and offer local pickup options to those in the area. When completing your order, simply choose the "Local Pickup" shipping option at checkout and we will send you instructions on setting up a pickup appointment via email as soon as your order has been completed.
